Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig süß, leicht wässrig, leicht Karamell.

Amber-brown colour. No head. The taste is mild, lightly malty with a slight hop bitterness. Decent English-type of beer.

[Bottle at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Murky brown-bronze, negligible head. Rather thin mouthfeel. A low-grade chocolate maltiness sits uneasily with herbs, pine, lime and rather a lot of urine. Oddly reminiscent of one of those ghastly health drinks with weird stuff in. An unusual beer, but not in a good way at all. c8

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Spicey notes. MOderate biytter slightly harsh flavor. Some caramellic notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Dark nut brown color, small off-white aroma. Artifical chocolate-cocoa aroma. Light bodied. Similar artifical cocoa, cocoa butter in the flavor than was in nose. Oily palate. Crystal malty. Odd and not too fresh sample.

Bottle 340ml.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate - dark malt, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate - dark malt, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110807]
