Klare goldgelbe Farbe; kompakte und stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase viel Malz, fruchtiger Hopfen, säuerliche und hefige Aromen. Im Geschmack rund, hellmalzig, Honig, präsente Süße, leichte Würze, milde Bittere, wenig Kohlensäure. Definitiv sehr süffig.

Optisch sattes Gold, dünner Schaum, behäbige Perlung. In der Nase künstlich. Im Trunk leider ebenso, Getreide, sehr süß, metallisch, aber ja, steht auch drauf, Hopfenextrakt. Nicht meins, danke.

Eller Birkacher Vollbier, jetzt mit 4,8 %, Flasche von REWE, Ebensfeld. - Helles Kupfergold, klar; Schaumringe im Glas. - In der Nase leicht toastiges Malz, herbwürzige Frucht, herbaler Hopfen, ein wenig Karamelmalz. - Antrunk schlank und weich toastmalzig mit feiner, nicht zu satter Karamelsüße; leichte aber frische zitrusfruchtige und herbale Hopfung, Anklänge an rote Beeren. Milder rezent, gerstig. Im Abgang lebhafte fränkische Herbe. - Möglicherweise ist es die Frische dieser nahe am Ursprungsort erstandenen Flasche, vielleicht auch die von der Brauerei beworbene lange Lagerzeit ihrer Biere (ein Gütekriterium, das ich erst im Laufe der Zeit zu schätzen gelernt habe) - jedenfalls ist dies das erste Bier vom Eller, das mir richtig gut schmeckt. Ein schönes Frankenlager mit sauberem, leicht toastigem Malzkörper und milder aber hintergründiger fränkischer Hopfung. (15.4.2021.)

Bottle. Hazy pale golden, low white head. light grainy nose. Medium light, slightly sour doughy base, grassy hops, light herbal finish. Average Landbier.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Lime and grass in the aroma. Refreshing taste with a slight sweetness and notes of lime, straw and biscuity malt.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Almost clear golden, mid sized head. Fruity and grassy with a touch of minerals. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Salty grass, rather neutral malt character. Mid bitter finish with some spicyness.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, modest dry. Soft-malty background, fine fruity notes of lemon. Well balanced finish. Not bad!

500ml bottle. Clear yellowish pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, a touch of gooseberry. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, slightly fruity, hints of gooseberry, rhubarb, yellow currant. Slightly unusual fruity hop note.
