An amber-coloured ale with a bitter sweet aftertaste , ground coriander is added to the brew to give it an extra citrusy spicy finish.

Isle of Wight Holiday Beer#84. More local tasting with this deeper golden coloured session ale. Traditional in design with a hop-malt sweetness in both aroma and taste, and some sugars. Duke Of York pub close to the Floating Bridge ferry.

Bottle in Brighstone, IOW. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly, decent fine minerally carbonation. Mellow malts, a whisper of caramel and a trace of grain. Mild pine and watery marmalade hops. Light and semi dry finish. Inoffensive but quite bland, regretting my earlier comments about Yates, this brewery needs to up it's game.

Bottle bought at Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma had light spice and buttery popcorn. Clear amber. Thin foamy white head. Light bitter, light spice. Immediately followed by sugary sweetness. Underlying malts. Light. Thin if slick. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat dry finish. Ultimately I find this sickly sweet. Did not particularly enjoy other than the pleasent palate

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Crystal clear, bright amber colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and minimally leafy, hoppy and mellow, malty aroma, notes of lemon tea, instant lemon tea, a cautious touch of tobacco and coriander. Taste is leafy and minimally fruity hoppy, mellow malty, hints of lemon tea, a touch of red berries, tobacco, coriander, caramel. Creamy, oily texture, smooth, soft and silky palate. Well crafted - pretty good.

500ml bottle. Clear nutty brown with a decent but short lived white head. Aroma is lemon, spice. Flavour is a bit strange - toffee with citrus and coriander. Weird aftertaste
