Bottle from Purely Cornish. This one is 4.0%. Appearance - amber/copper with a slightly off white head. Nose - dried orange and cake mixture. Taste - general fruitcake notes. A bit of zippy citrus too. Late malt bag/cardboard note. Palate - close to medium bodied, roasty/crunchy texture. Fairly dry on the finish. Overall - not bad. Almost very good, but funny note at the end.

Keighley Beer Festival, 2014. Copper coloured with a thin head. It’s more hops than malts with a subtle fruitiness throughout.

Shared 500ml bottle (4 of us) at the 1st Shrewsbury bottle swap on 27th Jan 2014, cheers Luc. Nice light session ale. Poured a pale amber, the head an off white wisp. Mixed bag of aromas and flavours: the nose being both fruity and slightly nutty, the taste a little malty and fruity with a gentle bitterness. Nothing special, but more than pleasant and it calmed down our palates in between some big hitters at the bottle swap.
