On cask at The Grapes, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, nary a trace of hops. Flavour is smooth, with fungal notes and bready malt. Finishes slightly bitter. Very fungal. Standard cask bitter.

Cask pint @ The Swan Inn, Pontfadog after a night ride around the surrounding hills. Pours clear amber, off-white head. Aroma is toffee sweet, continuing to taste presenting a comforting sweet amber bitter character. Good condition. Decent.

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty weak caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Cask at GBBF’17, day three, 10/08/17. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is bscuit, spice, bready notes, straw, light fruits. Taste comprises light floral notes, biscuit, fruit dusting, straw, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate bitter.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, hop, caramel and fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly watery texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Ship In A Bottle. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - malt and lemon. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a finish that is so so. Overall - solid but unexciting.

500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb and Stuu666. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, light malt, slightly nutty. Taste is bitter orange, caramel. Too sweet for a bitter.
