Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, London on 6th January 2010. Amber with lasting, lacing white head. Hoppy and fruity with citric zesty notes. Grassiness in finish on a smooth but slightly textured mouthfeel. A good refreshing ale, just above session strength.

From cask a Guildfort Arms. Pours almost clear orange with a small white head. Mild roasted malty aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malty with a light hoppy touch. Smooth and roasted finish with a light bitterness showing through. Light bitter finish. Good and solid one.

(Cask conditioned). I had just a taste of this at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival, will need to have it again. Some natural carbonation, low head. Very malty aroma and flavour, low bitterness. Typical Northeastern English style.
