GBBF. Cask. Slightly hazy gold beer. Smooth low carbonation palate. Sweetish malt base with pale malt dominating and a little caramel. Good orangey hops, touch of mango. Moderate bitterness. Trace of aniseed. Finishes smooth. Not bad!

Bomber brought from Charlottesville by Josh - Thanks! Medium amber color with a very slight white head. Aroma is mostly floral/citric hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is floral hop, so it’s not all that bitter. Finish is dryish, smooth and a bit oily. Leaves bitterness around the tongue edges. Certainly not your typical NW hophead IPA, but I think there’s more hop in here than it’s getting credit for. Otherwise I think I’d be getting a lot stronger dose of malt.

Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. A friend of mine complained of an extraordinarily rotten vegetal type note to this from the draft version (i had the Ivienna). We’ll see. Amber color with moderate head. Tart, fruity gummy bear nose. Odd. Same with the taste. Nothing rotten here, but it definitely does have notes of elementary school fruit cocktail (in other words, foul), along with piney hop notes. Fairly drinkable, but weird, and no reason to drink ever again.

Had this on cask a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome so I thought I would re-rate the base beer. Bomber from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral hops, caramel and a fruity finish. The taste is caramel malts, herbal and floral hops, fruity notes. Medium bodied. Still not great, but much better than before (which was 4/3/5/3/10/2.5).

Draft at Legend brewery: Slight caramel aroma. Clear amber color with a medium off white head. Tastes of dandelion, orange, honey, and caramel.. Grass and hop finish. Great tasting beer, but alcohol is bit too noticeable.

Clear dark yellow with a frothy white head. Sweet malt aroma. The falvor in this really doesnt go anywhere. Light sweetness with a touch of dryness in the finish. Thin bodied. Solidly brewed, just unexciting.

22 oz. Bottle. Fantastic find. Orange color, powerful aroma of a variety of fruit was shocked by the very fresh flavor without any bad tastes or aroma.

Bottle. Pours a brilliant orange ambre with a huge head. Sweet citrus, grapefruit, mango, butterscotch, and almost a slight caramel aroma. Outstanding. Flavor is along the same lines, with a lot of butterscotch up front, followed by a very nice long hop linger. I like this one!
