Cask at The Carpenters Arms. Pours gold with a mild, white head. Malty nose with faint, earthy hops. Some caramel sweetness and bread in the flavor with light, earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Malty finish with some short bitters. Not bad.

500ml bottle. Golden amber with a thin ring of white head; toffee and farmyard aromas; flavours of toffee and toasted malt, with a gentle bitter finish and some butterscotch to end.

Bottle from Millets Farm Shop, Oxon August 07 Poured warm golden, aroma was sweet toffee and malts but not overpoweringly so, more of the same in the taste and lacking in bitterness stakes, not bad though.

Cask-conditioned at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 19/6/07. As mentioned below this was a hard to categorise beer. The colour was in the name with a slight off-white head. Aroma of caramel followed by a touch of fruity flavour and some hops in the finish. Easy drinking for a 5% beer.
