500ml bottle, 3.4%. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of flora & light malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Drinkable but unremarkable.

Bottle courtesy of Bill and Julia, many thanks guys. Had this at home Sunday 23rd February 2025, after a short walk to Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schรถfweg (our local) pours light amber, decent clarity and a mid sized white head. Middling bitterness, a little citrus, it's a touch thin as only 3.4% abv, but pleasant.

Rocky white head on an amber coloured body.
Sweet malt & bitter aroma.
Medium bodied, lively with a clean back.
Malt, caramel, resinous & berry tastes with a bitter finish.
Great Bitter.

Bottle from Home Bargains. Clear amber with small white head, good retention. A bready, toffee and leaf and floral hop noted ale. Drying, light bodied. Ok.

Cask at the Golden Eagle Beer Festival. Light malty and citrus aroma. Taste light sweet medium body.

Cask. Cavendish, Cartmel. Clear gold. Decent head of white suds. Nose has bready, sourdough like grain. Bit of a nettle leaf hop thing. Taste is dry and a little astringent. Some honey sweetness. Light body. Crisp carbonation. Light bitter finish. Ok. Not sure this is in the best nick.

11/3/2019. Cask at the Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Pours pale amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, flowers, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, creamy texture, very soft carbonation. As 3 point something bitters go, this was a good one.
