Loosen your lederhosen. Our full-bodied OKTO Festival Ale is inspired by Bavarian Oktoberfest, and we pay fitting tribute with its distinctive malt flavors, mild floral character and crisp clean finish. Prost! To the land of the Prost!

Draught at Fish Tale Brewpub in Everett
Hazy dark amber color. The aroma is a bit fruity, the flavor is semi-sweet, with poor malt, a bit stale, and low bitterness.
Not interesting.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and grains with a bit of sweetness from a biscuit note. Flavor has a strong earthy grain and bread note with a hint of underlying sweetness.

Date bottom right corner reads in white \"July 18 14.\"
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a semi - dark red color with about a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing tries to concave a bit but spreads out to a nice semi - thick white foamy lacing.
The smell has a nice rich sticky sweet caramel maltiness running through a light roasty nuttiness and then a light toffee comes across nicely.
The taste was mainly malty sweet with a thorough caramel rich nutty flavoring, light breadiness coming in as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. There’s a nice sticky sweet caramel aftertaste that lead to a semi - dry finish.
Overall, I’m not exactly sure why this labeled an Amber ale on ratebeer but if anything, this one definitely lives up to the Oktoberfest style, I could definitely do this again.

A little caramelized malt and a touch of smoke with some rust. Pours copper without much head or lacing. Light sourness on finish. Some mash malt. Bottle from Chevy Chase.
