Our American Amber Ale is famous for its balanced flavor and impeccable smoothness. Caramelized malts give this beer its sweet flavor and signature copper hue. Bravo hops attribute a slight bitterness to the finish.

355ml can @5% Look - murky copper, with good sized off white head. Nose - caramel malts, very sweet, some grain. Taste - malty, caramel, metal, stone fruits. OK but not fresh tasting. Palate - light to medium body with an aggressive carbonation on the palate but has a certain refreshing quality. Overall - average

One litre plastic bottle (5% ABV) from an out of date keg, poured multiple times into a Hannen Alt glass at home on 9th Feb 2021. Off-white affair on top of each copper pour, a little lighter than most Alt beers I've come across colour wise. Semi-sweet and malty with a caramel flavour overriding a mild hop presence. Really enjoyed it. Why are the scores so low on RateBeer for this beer?

Bottle at home from Kris Wines. Pours clear amber with off white bubbly head. Aroma is toffee, bit of subtle hoppiness, mainly malt. Taste is caramel malty, sweet, little bit of spice/pepper and a bitter hoppy finish. Perfectly nice, but maybe not so exciting. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fordham Copperhead Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Pours a coppery amber from a tap. Sweet and slightly metallic odor. Corn flakes. Similar flavor, starts bitter ends sweet. Meh.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Copper-amber in colour with a thin head. Some fruitiness in its nose, a little blander in taste, but retains a good palatability through a pleasant lightish texture. Slightly sweet in this respect.
