Der starke Fruchtige – obergärige Doppelböcke sind heutzutage eine Rarität. Echte Bierkenner schätzen ihren fruchtigen Geschmack. Die Riegele Braumeister pflegen und bewahren diese alte Starkbiertradition.

Massiivne banaan, magus, nisune, suhkrune, natuke hapukas, õrnalt viljane, mangone isegi. Alkoholi on lõpus tunda, aga ei midagi hullu. Väga klassikaline weizenbock, kiidan heaks.

Bottle from Liebick Getränkemarkt, nr Gemering, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Friday 14th February 2020 listening to Iggy Confidential on 6Music. Hazy amber with a white head, lots of banana on the nose. Banana toffee in the mouth, fruity and strong as the description suggests. A really pleasant beer, quite pokey.

Geschmacklich (leicht vergoren) fruchtig, malzig, etwas Sekt, etwas Balsamico. Kein spektakulärer Bock, aber durchaus gut.

Bottle. pale amber color. Banana sweets and wheat in the aroma. Wheaty sweet, alcoholic flavor with banana, tangerine and dried fruit. Nice enough for a cold spring night.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish copper with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Banana and clove nose with caramel aromas that dominate. Like a flaming banana dessert. Smooth and rich, with good carbonation and pillowy mouthfeel. More caramel banana on the palate, clove is muted. Good yeast character throughout. Light peppercorn on a sweet finish. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Augustus Weizen Doppelbock on 28 Sep 2018 at 21:54 - Score: 7. Original review text: Lovely caramel, banana nosevwith light toasted bread. Smooth banana and caramel on the palate as well. Light bitterness on the finish. Great

Very nice weizenbock, caramel and bread on top of clove and dark fruits and red apple, with a modest floral bitterness and toasted (almost smoky) malt notes leading to a yeasty, bubblegum-laced finish. Never grows overly sweet, and the 8% ABV stays nicely hidden behind the medium-full body and easygoing texture. Classic sweet doppelbock nose, and the pour's a hazy amber with a thin off-white head and slight lacing. Tasty beer.
