0.33 l bottle from ’Biermuda’, best before July 2018. Murky, brownish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of dried apricot, cloves, overripe banana, some cinnamon and a touch of caramel. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of overripe banana, cloves, orange jam, vanilla, honey and some nuts, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, minimally sourish and a bit peppery-boozy finish. Over medium-bodied, creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice classic Weizenbock, a tad too much alcohol noticeable maybe, very pleasant overall though.

Pigs Ear Fest. Thanks to Ian for the bottleshare. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts. Banana esters. Dried fruits. Mild spice. Smooth semi dry finish brings more banana. Satisfyingly rich.
