Pendle Beer Festival. Clear golden-amber with a glow. It’s a sweetened ale with some toffee notes evident in both aroma and taste. Has a light bitterness.

Golden with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma with honey notes, some apple and pear. Sweetish and full bodied flavour with pear fruit, grassy and herbal hops, in particular a touch of nettle

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, light pine, mandarine notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear yellow with a small white head and lacings. Citrussy, floral and grainy. Dry, fresh, smooth and bitter. Nice.

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rather Nelson Sauvin like fruity with also some slight catpissy and slightly sour wooden notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, some mild malts, mild Nelson notes as well. Pleasantly balanced.
