Ausgewogener Geschmack, aus dem die einzelnen typischen Weizen-Aromakomponenten herausgeschmeckt werden können, jedoch – wie es sich für ein solch edles Bier gehört – unaufdringlich. Eine obergärige Bierspezialität bei der alleine der Geschmack entscheidet: Süffig und geschmackvoll zugleich. Dabei verzichten wir auf sämtliche Zusatzstoffe und forcierte Verfahren und belassen unser Bier unfiltriert.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this brew!
The nose is like Pril or any other dish-washing liquid. The beer starts very bananay - even tastes a bit artificial. The mainpart has lots of clove with chemical banana taste. The aftertaste is long, intense with hints of bitterness.
A very strange brew! 8/10/8/8

Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fruity-moldy aroma. Starts fine fruity-malty, light moldy, not too intense. Fruity notes of apricot. Well balanced finish, malty-yeasty. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Draught @ Gasthaus Zur Krone, Kespermarkt 11, Witzenhausen, Hesse, Germany 37213. [ As Schinkel’s Brauhaus Weizen ].Hazy - murky medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, sweet banana, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, wheat, yeast, fruity, sweet banana. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110711]

Draught at the brauhaus
Muddy blond color; creamy head. It has a quite strong spicy aroma. The wheat flavor is quite crispy, with a good spicy character, smooth mouthfeel, light fruity touch (citrus fruits); ordinary bitterness. Balanced, correctly brewed.
