Original Sin was born out of the NYC experience. The founders, all NYC’ers, came to see the need for a superior cider, a cider that was clean and complex with a noticeable bite. The quest to create the perfect recipe encompassed both day and night. Day was spent in upstate in a winery, tasting, testing and mixing. Nights were spent in NYC bars, getting feedback from bar owners and patrons. The result, Original Sin Hard Cider was released to immediate acclaim from sources as diverse as the The New York Times, Paper Magazine, and Market Watch.

Bottle. Golden color with some bubbles. Taste is a tart tasty apple. Aroma is apple, a wee bit chemical.

Can. A- Apples, white wine. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Apples, champagne. P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- Lots of apple and a white wine/champagne feature. Okay.

0.33l bottle @ Distilled NYC. This is a pale blurry looking one. Lots and lots of bug bubbles climbing up the glass. No real head. Smells nice. Apply, mild dusty with some pear hints. A mild apply sweetness in the taste but its not too sweet. Pears and soft cellar dust. Some acidity also giving it a mild freshness. Works decent in the hot NYC sun. 19.06.2015

Delicious! Nice balanced light sweet/tart apple complexity; with light spice. Crisp carb/clean/dry finish. Highly refreshing!

On tap in Brooklyn. Pours yellow with small white head. Apple aroma and flavor. Sweet with dry finish.

Draft, Nano Brew Cleveland on 26 Nov, 2014. Aroma is apple sweetness, sugars. Light in body with high carbonation and a dry, clean finish. Tart apples, weak white grape and pears. Overall well-made but standard.
