Day 7 of my 5th annual break from booze, and my first NA beer of the season. Pack of 12 oz bottles left over at the local Monroe liquor shop from the holidays, and I grabbed that last one. Figured if there is a snowflake in the upcoming weekly forecast, it's still the season to be enjoying a holiday themed brew. Not entirely sure what expectations I had from this, but it was definitely different from that. Dark penny copper pour with a decent amount of foam head that lasts. Quite the sweet heavy aroma, with candy red apple, cranberries, and mild spices. Lively carb, this drinks more like a soda than a beer. Soft cola notes on the flavor, with a little ginger, root beer. Sweet candied finish. All things considered, this brew does not taste bad. Definitely a one of a kind beer, NA or not. Might spend the rest of the six pack trying to figure out if I really like it or not.

Bottle, purchased at my local Total Wine. Halfway decent, especially for a NA beer. Good way to close out the holidays with a decently spiced Christmas beer. Cranberry, spices, light herbal notes. Extra points for it being NA, given the dearth of good NA beers out there.

Watered down mulled wine. Sweet, a hint of xmas spices, a touch of dry hoppiness. Ok.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts malty and sweetish, some hints of fruits, some cinnamon, some cookies. Finish again sweetish malty. Strange one...
