Bottle at home. Light pour but still a good head. Bitter nose and a really complex and appealing flavour. Malt and hops, followed by the richness and tang of the oats. Perhaps a bit too rich for more than one????

Bottle from the brewery shop in Lewes. Smooth and round malty beginning. Fresh smooth, nice with hints of grain. Not too sweetish, round with a nice and intense bitterness. The Golden Ale aromatic is smooth, mild grainy sweetish in the aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle from Harvey’s online. Appearance - golden with nice lace. Nose - pungent citrus, maybe getting towards tamarind. Taste - loads of green herby notes Palate - medium bodied or so. Creamy and fairly fresh on the finish. Overall - it’s not bad, it’s not good, it has more character than plain water.

Bottle from the Harvey’s bottle shop. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, buttered cheap white bread and straw. The taste is crisp, lightly bitter, straw, floral, sweet dough, pale grain, earth and light lemon rind with a dry finish. Light-medium body and average carbonation. Pretty basic stuff. Not bad, just plain. One of my least favourite from Harvey’s.

275ml Bottle- Dark golden/ambrt in colour with lively carbonation. Grapefruit and lemon in the aroma with pleasant hoppiness. Some butterscotch and hoppiness in the taste and quite nicely balanced but I wish they would bottle condition more of their beers.
