The perfect Valentine celebration beer. A Valentine beer brewed with malted barley, pinhead oats and a marriage of English and Continental hops.

275ml bottle from the brewery shop, Lewes. I saw the statue when it came to Lewes, in fact the reason that I last visited the town. Gold colour with thin off white head. Decent golden bitter. Bit of toffee and tinny. Not impressed with some of the bottles I got at the shop. Cask handpull at Market Porter. Typical Harvey’s yeast on aroma, over a relatively complex malt base.
