Cask at the Marble Arch, Manchester. Golden looks with a smallish white head. Juicy fruit and hop abounded in the nose and flavour which both had a real shine to them. Bitterness spot on. Supremely refreshing and glaggable. Just about all you could want in a summer brew. Only a pity we never had much of a summer itself up here in the North West (again).

Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, London during Meet the Brewer on 8th Sept 2010. Gold with thin white foam. Beautiful ale indeed. Chees notes in aroma and exquisite grapefruit hop in-mouth along with a savoury note. Citrus grapefruit in the endtaste that is long-lasting. Rich, full-mouth texture. Very satisfying ale.

8th September 2010. Cask Pub & Kitchen. ’Meet The Brewer’
Very slight haze on this pale gold beer. Little white head. Nice orangey citrus, traces of grapefruit and lemon. Whisper of banana. A little dry but a real fresh fruity breeze of a beer.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 2007. Gold, bubbly white head. Golden bitter, decent citrus on finish, which turns slightly spicy. Fine. 636312 3.0/5.0. Re-rate Cask handpull Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico. Pale gold, thin white head. Lovely hop aroma. It’s amazing almost perfect. Lovely hop just like lmeon and with a touch of lime. Lovely mouth feel. Good balanced hop finish. Superb.

(Cask at Marble Arch, Manchester, 28 July) Colour is golden yellow with little head. Nose is fruity with lots of citrus (mostly lemon, but some grapefruit as well) and a grassy hop aroma. Same goes for the taste: fruity with grapefruit and lemon, long bitter (citrus style hop taste) finish. Some sweetness, but well balanced by the citrus. Very nice, hoppy and summery.

Draught@brew pub. Pale yellow, good white head. Mild fruity hoppy nose, touch of vanilla and trefoil. Fruity, middle-of-road bitter, tasty one.
