this all malt beer barely tastes different than other versions with a bit more body, but its still San Mig deep down. OK

Bottle from H&J Makati. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is corn, sweet malts, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, corn, toffee sweet malt, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty poor as expected but not the worst I’ve had in this part of the world.

Can - Sweet, bready and corn. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Sweet, bready and corn with a moderate sweet finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior D’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Aroma of paper, oxidation, honey, acetaldehyde. Sweetish flavor with honey, oxidation, paper, apple. Watery. Bad.

Watery golden. Slight sweetness. Mostly tasteless. Full of harsh carbonation. Quenches the thirst, but offers little else. I prefer the standard SM.

Bottle brought home from the Philippines by a friend. Clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and corn. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Watery. 201215

Another one from PH courtesy of Richard. Cheers! Poured a deep amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet, and malty. Heavily sweet to taste, no bitterness. Light body, thin texture, quite fizzy. Not a good beer, tasted better no-alcohol malt drinks.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma.
