Cask (Standing Order JDW, Southampton) - Copper in colour. Biscuity malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Fruity and biscuity taste with notes of raisins, sultanas and a hint of orange.

Cask st the William Shenstone, Halesowen. Pours dark orange brown with a small head. Aroma is eggy dark fruits and bread. Taste has coffee and bready malt.

Cask handpump at The Flying Pig, Cambridge, Friday 19th December 2014. Its very dark in here so determing the colour is nigh on impossible, but it looks clear. Good fruity tang with a soft slightly spicy edge, bittersweet, reasonably malty, better than I expected. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at the Standing Order. Pours dark amber, sweet, watery, dry toffee, sweet malts.

Cask at Watford jdw. Copper colour with a lasting dense white head. Aroma is nutty malt and apple. Flavour is spicy apple and cinnamon. Some hot alcohol in the finish. Nice enough palate. Pretty average.

Cask at the Whispering Moon, Carshalton, Surrey on 3rd December 2013. Copper with thin white head and initial lacing. Sweet and spicy aroma with caramel malt and berries. Sweet and fruity in-mouth with berries and gingery note. Sweet finish dying away quite quickly. Zingy mouthfeel and light body.

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; dark amber pour with fluffy magnolia head, rich malt aroma, caramel taste with fruity taste and malt backbone.

Cask at Gunton Arms, North Norfolk. Clear copper colour. Halo of white head. Sweet caramel, some fruit, hint of spice. Taste is sweet, then dry, with a little spice. Overly sweet palate. A bit clacky.

Cask@Plasterers Arms, Norwich. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, mild earth and some slight spicy and herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts, wood, some herbs as well as mild nuttyness. Pleasantly balanced.
