From bag-in-a-box at the Sausage & Cider Festival at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, London 04.06.22. Clear pale urine colour. No head. Fine aroma and taste of crisp yellow apples, cider apples and wild apples. Dry and crisp mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Bladder bag at the Four Candles, Broadstairs, 21/05/21. Pale clear golden with nothing offered in way of a head. Nose is bitter sweet apple tones, dusty hay, light funk levels, grains, wooded notes. Taste comprises tangy apple skins, tannins, light barnyard, residual sugars, iced glazing, vanilla trace. Medium bodied, fine to light carbonation, assertive dryness in the close. Solid stuff ... does not come in near 8% ... could do you some damage unknowingly sipping away on this !

Sample, thanks Grumbo! Misty straw yellow. Moderately sweet aroma, custard hints, taste is centred on a green apple character, crisp and crunchy in feel, with a nice bristling carbonation, gently tangy, sweet. Very good.

Box @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden-yellow, clean and crisp despite a dominant dryness. It’s not quite feeling its strength.

Draught at Claret Freehouse. It pours clear very pale yellow with no head. The nose is earthy, musty, barnyard, appletiser and apple skin. The taste is dry, earth, apple skin, tangy apple, alcohol hit, tart pear, touch of acidity, white grape and wood. Medium body, pretty much flat and slick mouth - feel. Drinks easier than it should, consider you get a good boost from it. Solid. Originally 3.5. Drank this many times since including in bottle. Balanced and moreish. Very enjoyable. 3.7
