A relaxing half to break up the journey home, enjoyed in the newly blossoming orchards at Burrow Hill cider farm. Pours a deep gold, still, with pleasant medium fruit on the nose. Taste presents a comforting sweetness, tight astringency with excellent scrumpy drinkability. Good stuff.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 25 July 2019) Golden colour with no head. Fruity nose with apples, honey and apple blossom. Fruity taste with notes of apples, honey, a slight harshness, and a mild acidity in the finish. Medium bopdy, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and fairly straightforward. Quite enjoyable.
