(Draught at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 12 Oct 2024) Amber colour with creamy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, apricot marmalade, treacle toffee and crispbread. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, apricots, bread, brown sugar and a mild herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Rich, harmonious and well balanced. Very nice.

At bierfestival Bad Staffelstein. Amber color, off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly amber malts, lightly minerally, lightly metal, a bit dry bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Alright but a bit boring. 7-3-7-3-12.

Tap at the Bad Staffelstein Bierfestival. Beautiful, glowing red-orange, slightly hazy, with a huge, rocky head. Lightly roasty malt nose, earthy, grains, whole grain bread. Estery flavor, apple, peach, orange, rich whole grain bread, some minerals, and lemony, herbal hops. Prickly, peppery finish. Caramel apples. Full body, low carbonation.

(Bierwanderung HB 8, 3.9.2016.)
