Cask (backlog). Murky deep ambery brown colour with a small white head, which sticks for a good while and leaves lace. Aroma is bready and caramel malts with some nutty and mild floral and wooden notes as well. Flavour is sweet floral notes with some grass, herbs and mild sprucelike notes along with nutty and mildly caramelly notes. Nice balance between malts and hops, and actually quite quaffable.
