Tap @ Braugasthof Papiermühle. Clear brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 290715

Draught at the brauhaus
Beautiful clean amber color with generous compact head. Light aroma of darker malts. Good body, caramel flavor, light coffee, some roasted nuts later, ordinary bitterness.
Not really a Dunkel, a strange brew, more of a Vienna.

Draught @ Brauereigasthof Papiermuhle, Erfurter Strasse 102, Jena, Thuringia, Germany 07743.Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fudge, caramel, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110709]

Hopfig-bitter malziger Antrunk, eher mild, fast lasch. Erst im hinteren Mittelteil kräftiger, etwas hell-malzig (was widerum unpassen für ein dunkles ist), im Abgang leicht würzig. Es fehlt an malziger Intensität. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,8,8,12,7 - 7,85

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Neutral aroma. Starts very vapid, the middle is modest malty, but also mild. The finish is as washy as the beginning. Disappointing!
