Flaska från SB. Mahognyfärgad lätt disig vätska med krämigt smutsvitt skum. Riktigt fina maltiga dofter med sött bröd, kaffe, rostade nötter, mjölkchoklad och ljus fudge, te. Lätt men bra kropp. Smak som doften, medelstor sötma och låg beska. Stora smaker till låg ABV. Perfekt till husman med lite sötma. Ärkebrittisk. Mycket trevlig.

Nøgne did a good effort in shaking up the milde ale style. But although it’s relatively nice, it also shows there’s not a whole lot you can do with this style. They should rename it to ’boring ale’.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with a creamy beige head. Discreet chocolatey aroma. Fairly light in body, a little chocolate and a little nuts. A light late malt tartness but nothing too disturbing. Finishes dry with some hoppiness. 230112

Borefts Beer Festival 3. Opaque dark brown beer, big pale tan head. Light crisp palate, mild carbonation. Very light malt, mild minerals. Enough hop to impart a little bitterness in the dry finish. Somewhat ephemeral!

On tap @ Beer Temple. Dark redbrown color. Beige head, leaving lacerings. Aroma’s of roast and hops, flowery. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted, a hint of acidity. Light bodied. Finishes with some ash, and a dry bitterness. Not so mild indeed.
