A full-bodied Double IPA that glows a magnificent hazy orange. Heavily dry-hopped with Jarrylo, Azacca, and Mosaic resulting in big notes of pineapple, mango, honeydew, and candy sweetness. Dangerously drinkable and surprisingly mellow - Consolation Prize is always a winner.

Not as impressive as Boomsauce, though still impressive.

Sweeter and boozier with fruity sweetness. The malts are nice, and it ends up pretty good but strong...nice balance, though.

Pours a bright, pale yellow, slightly hazy, with little to no head. Aroma is grassy and pine/spruce-hoppy, with some hints of citrus and other fruit. Flavor is very grassy and favors the pine hoppiness. Some citrus, some breadiness. Fairly bitter finish. Tasty.

F: not big, white, quick gone. C: pale gold to gold, hazy, opaque. A: malty, bit orange, tangerine, bit of tropical fruits, mellow fruity. T: malty backbone, tangerine, orange, herbal dry bitterness, full body, low to medium carbonation, I expect more fresh character there yet enjoyed, sample @ BXLBeerFest in Brussels.
