No. 1 Premium Stout 4.4% ABV. Warm aromas of the roasted, flaked and pale malted barley underpin the smooth richness of this stout, balanced by the pairing of Challenger and Target hops for a bitter finish.

Bottled from Corks, Bristol. Near black, with a long-lasting, off-white head. Plenty of coffee in the aroma. Very smooth drinking with with flavours of raisins, dark chocolate and roasted notes. A long dry finish to a very good bottled beer.

Bottled (thanks omhper). Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is slightly roasted malts and some licorace. Flavour is roasted malts and slight hoppyness. Aftertaste is dry hops and some sweet malts.

Bottled. Almost black, creamy head. Coffee is obvious in the nose. Dryish and buttery with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Richly malty, almost meaty with lingering bitterness and notes of tobacco. A good, well balanced stout. Kingstone is an excellent brewer!
