Straw colored with a mild amount of hopping. Organic ESB is one of the few certified organic beers brewed in the world today. The malt bill is comprised of 2-row, Munich, and caramel that is flavored with organic German Perle hops.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Amber coloured, golden creamy head. Aroma nice maltiness, English ale smell unsurprisingly, slight citrus hops. Taste ok, malty, bit of bitterness, bready. Not really my favourite style, but not bad.

Draft at the brewery, from notes. Medium herbal and grassy hops with a decent caramel backbone. Good, but nothing really outstanding here.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 7/10/2013. Pours fairly cloudy deep orange copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of orange peel, apple, caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, herbal, grass, light nuttiness, and toast/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester notes; with decent strength. Taste of orange peel, apple, caramel, toast, brown sugar, biscuit, light toffee, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, and toast/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of orange peel, apple, caramel, toast, brown sugar, biscuit, light toffee, light nuttiness, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and decent robustness of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this was a good ESB. Well balanced dark/bready malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester flavors; and veryu smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering.

Purchased at a gas station in Milwaukee, WI, enjoyed while doing band video shoot. Can't comment on the appearance as it's drank from bottle. Aroma of caramel malt and hops. Taste is decent, just an average brew though.

Slightly hazed amber with a short, light tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Watery caramel taste, with a slight leafy bitter. Tasty, but nothing phenomenal.

Bottle - Grains and caramel. Clear amber with an off white foamy head. Nice malty flavors, with some light caramel and bitterness. Very clean finish, with next to no residual bitterness. A superbly sessionable beer.

Bottle @ home, 2:12am, best time of day to rate an esb. Hazy, reddish orange appearance with a disappearing, tan head. Toasty, cracker, caramel malty, grassy, a bit citrusy aroma. Rich caramel/toffee, orange citrusy, quite sweet flavor. Somewhat cloying. A bit thick and syrupy mouth feel.

Smells like cantaloupe and grape flavored pixie sticks powder candy. Very cloudy amber, moderate foamy/cream head. Toasty caramel malts, a bit lifeless palate, almost no hop flavors but light-medium bitter finish. Vague fruitiness. Not very pleasant.
