A traditional German style beer that is light and refreshing. Our Kolsch has a strong malt backbone with a creamy mouthfeel and a nice hop bite. Just as refreshing as our Pilsner with a little twist.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Pale bready and doughy malts with floral hops. The taste is grassy hops, very faint fruits, bready and crackery malts and a bit of honey. Medium bodied, crisp, very dry. Closer to a pils than a kolsch. Nice beer.

Draft at Miller’s, Charlottesville VA: Light hay nose. Clear yellow, thin head. Grassy light hay flavor, funky pear at midpalate, returning to hop grassiness. Medium body. Pilsnery, but with the fruity esters of a kolsch.
