Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper color with a sly transparency about it. Two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to floral hoppiness, clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: low bitter to bittersweet blend of the prior noted aromas; finishes citrusy/floral and a touch of maltiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness, some bitterness, light dryness
Overall: nice enough APA worthy of coming back to

Very crisp golden, peach and light copper coloured body with a good two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of very nice tropical fruits - papaya, mangoes, dragonfruit and even a touch of tart passionfruit comes out with a little bit of hop bitterness from alpha acids, but fairly muted. Medium-bodied; Very crisp malt profile at first with a strong citrusey and perfumey hop characteristic that has a touch of bitterness, but then the tropical fruits come out in a nice way and bring out a good layer of complexity and balance, with a refreshing and very flavourful complexity. Aftertaste has great flavours, a tremendous balance, still tons of bitterness and range, but a smooth sweetness and complex profile, especially for the style. Overall, a very nice APA, perhaps one of the best I've had in many years - due to the great balance and smooth tropical notes. Great to sample, especially fresh all the way out here in Washington, and even though I was just out in the Grand Tetons a few weeks ago, I didn't have/see this out there, but get it fresh all the way on the other side of the country! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 18-August-2020 for US$2,50 sampled just a few hours later here at my house here in Washington on 18-August-2020.

12oz Can (canned on 21st Aug 2019) on 23rd Dec 2019 while on holiday in California. Hazy orange body, off-white topping. Dull and slightly bitter tropical fruit flavours, aroma similar, some malt action in there too.
