375 ml bottle from Crooked Stave a few years ago. Nose is light horseblanket, cherries, and tartness with an earthy note. Murky pink with a small pink tinged head. Flavor is lightly funky, tart cherries.

Ever so slightly hazy, beautiful pink coloured body with a more golden and copper tinted body with a very thin, ultra fast-dying tan head with a light glaze and haze to it, but the pink coloured tint is very nice. Aroma of very strong and soured fruits with a lot of apricots, berries, yeast, hay, peaches and a dash of apples and pears. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong fruity and very tart flavours dominate with the apricots, peaches and plum notes up front and deep, but the funky yeast and dryness persist and the spontaneously fermented notes show up front with some dry cedar-like flavours near the end, but the sweet and especially tart, almost completely fruit-notes dominate, in a good way.Nice to sample and while full of flavour and complexity, still easy-drinking and simple enough to enjoy without being overwhelming or cloying. I sampled this 37,5 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 27-March-2016 sampled at my house here in Washington almost exactly five years later on 28-March-2021.
