Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, hay, straw, dusty malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, dark citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110619]

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Honeyish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, some slight toffee and pleasant hoppyness. Flavour is fruity, toffeeish, some mild floral notes as well. Quite pleasant balance.

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 19 May 2011) Bronze colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of biscuity malt, citrus, apricots and slightly earthy hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with biscuits, apricots, citrus, hints of toast and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite nice.

Cask at Euston Tap. Clear, yellow-gold with a fine white head. Dough, grass aroma. Medium sweet, great hop character, some grass, hay and mild earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Citrus and grass hops in finish, some good bread. Great stuff.

Half pint from the cask menu at Euston Tap. Clear copper body, low white head. Grassy hops to the nose. Fruity taste with notes of orange and grapefruit, hints of dark berries, too. Mild bitter ending. Good drinking (London, 21.03.2011).
