Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a clear deep amber with a small off-white head. Odd phenollic and rather unclean aroma. Medium body, roasty, phenollic and chemical, some fruit and a cardboard edge. Perhaps a little chocolate too. Hardly any bitterness. Not so pleasant. 220611

A reddish copper bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, faint caramel, nothing else. In mouth, a nutty malt with light German hops, chalky, boring. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Deep caramel brown coloured body, light on the edges and a decently thick tan head. Aroma of strong malt, funky cardboard, a bit of skunk, some caramel and a bunch of a typical Yuengling lager aroma - bread too. Light-bodied; Some caramel, raisins and light acidic tastes throughout, with not much else coming through. Aftertaste is very mild as well - not much going on, some funky cardboard and very light malt. Overall, not such a great beer, and definitely not good for the style. Neat to see a retro label and a new beer from Yuengling, but wish it was better in quality - as with all of their beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 05-March-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 09-March-2010.

Refrigerated beer poured into a glass. Pours a medium brown with dark amber highlights and some beige head. Taste is dark slightly sweat malt, some caramel, and a hint of smoke. Has some lacing and decent carbonation. True to the style and pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slight dark clear red color, slightly off white head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is pretty crisp, malts, nothing super special about this one, but worth picking up a six pack to try.
