Cask, 5.1%. Almost clear copper colour. Small creamy tan head. The flavour starts off quite watery, but turns nutty, even with a tiny bite of hops. All right, afterall.

Gravity cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Pours light amber with no head. Aroma holds nuts, malts, and some mild fruits. Flavor is average, with caramel and light malts, then some modest bitterness. Light to medium in body with faint carbonation. A touch syrupy. Normal malt finish with some nuts, light dryness and faint, fruity hops. Nice beer overall, quite drinkable.

On tap at the Magpie. Clear gold amber beer. Small white head. Light semi dry palate. A little creamy pale malt. Nice fresh orange orange hop with a trace of lime tang. Minerals. Finishes semi dry and smooth. Nice refreshing beer with great fresh fruit and very much superior to the insipid beer I had at last years Pigs Ear!
