Pours amber with ivory head. Scents of honey, passion fruit, mango, quince, peach... Neither powerful nor fresh, but certainly mouth-covering and bitterish. Short lingering finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Clear deep golden-orange. Aroma of butterscotch, vegetables, caramel, and a bit of hops. Sweetish flavor with butterscotch, some caramel, and a decent bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

At a tasting, thanks, small creamy head, clear very deep orange to red color with some brown hues, aroma of citrus, metal and butter, thw dyacetil is quite dominating, flavor of jam and caramel with some citrusy bitterness and some dms in back, lingering malty bitter aftertaste. Fair.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen - orange amber coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste is juicy grapefruit, and medium sweet malty, caramel, toffee, satsuma, marmalade, some nice floral ant pine notes as well. Very nice!

Sampled draft @ ACBF 2015. Man that label! Clear dark orange, littlee head. Very oily hops, sweet onion hops, malty, oddly sweet & sugary on top. Taste is onion & grapefruit hops, oily with lots of sweetness, sugar, malt. Med. malty body. Light toffee. Too sweet & unbalanced in my opinion. (Thanks for sharing people!!!)

Clear deep orange to amber beer, creamy irregular white head, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, some caramel, grains, hay, little fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, strawberry jam, bitter, citrus, caramel malts. Aftertaste: sweet touch, raspberry and strawberry jam, some citrus, bitter finish.

Bottle (Uppsala Beer Festival 2015) - Amber in colour. Notes of peach, grapefruit and toffee can be detected in the aroma. The taste is hoppy with tpine and grapefruit detected.

fles met gele achtergrond van het etiket, schenkt wazig amber/rood met minimale witte kraag. aroma van graan, mout, citrus, den. Smaken zijn matig zoet, redelijk bitter, normale sterkte, veel den en gras, redelijk body, glad van textuur, lage co2, afdronk bitter en kruidig, aardig, smaakvol maar géén topper voor mij. --- Beer merged from original tick of ZZ Amber Ale on 18 May 2018 at 11:39 - Score: 7
