33cl Bottle from Plovmand, thanks Thomas! ABV is 8.2%. Deep dark brown to black colour, brown head. Aroma of liquorice, rhum, rhum soaked coffee beans, soy sauce, roasted malts, wood, alcohol, light spicy. Flavour is quite sweet, soy sauce, rhum beans, lots of liquorice (Engelse drop), light fruity, some chocolate, liqourice and soy sauce in the finish, little bit of Christmas spices. Medium-bodied at best. A little too heavy on the liquorice imo.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy biyyet nice flavor. Chocolate and week vanilla notes. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle thx to FrumptyDumpty cons 2011-12-16 Göteborg Ar: rich coffey, rasinis and sugary rum chocolate, when poured even plums and tropical fruits Ap: dark, dark brown almost black colored body, 1 cm stouthy crème brown head F: coffey, vanilla, almonds, caramel, tropical fruits, rum. A littel bit to much all over the place

Clear very dark brown with a lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and rum. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. 071211

Bottle at KØ-2011. Dark brown colour witha beige head. aroma is oak, vanilla, roasted malt. Flavour is oak, vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, hop, spices. Nice beer.

Bottle 330ml @ TFODRBSG11, Ulfborg
Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, coffee, oak, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. It’s an unclear, brown beer topped by a decent sized light beige head. Roasted malts, oak, vanilla, chocolate and a touch of alcohol on the nose. Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee, oak, some vanilla hints and a nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Some resiny hints. Full-bodied, warming and dry. Ummm, nice... Rating: 7-3-7-4-15-3.6. 110527
Bottle. It pours a clear-looking dark brown body and a dense, beige head leaving some lacings. Rather roasted nose, with a pleasant rum scent and some notes of alcohol. Sweetness, roasted malts, dark rum and some spicyness in the flavor. Licorice too. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish with lots of pleasant dark rum and some dark sugars. Well, not your average Christmas beer, not in my book at least, but a damn fine one anyway. 110819

Bottle from Saxo @ FOneFan. Very dark brown with small tan head. Flavour is roasted malts, caramel, rum, liquorice, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is heavy rum - quite upfront. Rum, raisin and vanilla. Sweet and sticky. A bit of a burn. Some spices and again quite aggressive rum.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rhum, coffee, roast malt and hops.
