Sampled at CBF 2011. Black, low head. Amarillo nose Light roast, orangepeel, pine, grassy hops. Slightly edgy.

(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 18 May 2012) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of black coffee, liquorice, cocoa and dark rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate and a slightly citric bitterness in a dry, roasty finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Very nice.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A brown to black beer topped by a minimal-sized off-white to beige head. Roasted and sweetish on the nose, with a solid dose of coffee. Roasted and sweet flavor with some piney hops and a decent bitterness. A bit thin on the palate, nicely carbonated. Roasted and bitter end. A quite nice beer, drinking easily. 110527

On tap at KØ-2011. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, hop, malt. Flavour is coffee, hop, roasted malt, fruit, licorice. bitter finish. Nice beer.

Ruby to lack colour with a small tan head. Aroma of of malt, roasted malt and licorice with a slightly dusty note. Dry and roasted flavour with licorice and a bit of cellar character

Draft @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a black color with a small tam grad. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.

Draught, KØ11. Weak roasted aroma. Almost black colour. Almost no head. The flavour is mildly roasted. Has a mild roast barley note, but balanced by a bit of sweetness. Good body.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Black, small head. Aroma of tar and black chocolate. Dryish and dense, medium-full bodied. Very roasty with lots of asphalt and cocoa. Tarry finish.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dusty malt, hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110527]
