Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Black, small head. Licorice aroma. Dryish with solid, well rounded body. Dense and oily, heavily roasty with oily tarry finish. A stout filled with withheld aggression.

Draft. A black beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and oats. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, wood, and some oats, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Quite much pitch black thick stuff with not all that much head. Aroma is toffee, toasted notes, some liquorice and also some alcohol. Flavour is being quite similar in a nice balance. Good plain and basic thick stout.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear medium black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, dark roasted, roasted, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110527]

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2011. Pours black with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Roast, chocolate and caramel. Smooth and full bodied. Nice.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and breadish, bitter. Roasted, bitter and liqourice. Smooth dark malty and slight acidic. Bitter and dry roasted to acidic into the finish.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Black colour. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, hints of liqorice. Smooth roasty flavour, malts, dark chocolate and hints of liquorice again. Good, very drinkable.

clear dark brown, smooth light yellow head. mild aroma, roasted grains, faint herbal note. flavor is malty, licorice, hops, mild but quite dry and tasty.
