Rich, decadent, smooth and just the right amount of vanilla, oak, and sweetness from the bourbon barrels where it rested for nearly a year.

16.9 ounce bottle shared with Brigadier. Black, thin fizzy head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, oak. Taste is chocolate, raisin, vanilla, whiskey, oak. Medium bodied, a bit of booze. Very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with an inch of soft brown head. Aroma is chocolate, bourbon, cocoa, earth. Flavor is wow. Slightly Smokey from the barrel, chocolate, cocoa, barrel, bourbon, ash, burnt toast, earth. Good flavor, especially right up front.
