Fra fat på Cardinals juleølsmaking nov-12: Stort og tett skum. Aroma og smak av svisker og ingefær. Nydelig balansert med stor munnfølelse og lang ettersmak. Herlig!

Unclear, aroma of prunes with hints of ginger, wonderful round mouthfeel. Perfectly balanced.

[ As Lervig Mike Murphy’s Winter Wine ].Unclear medium to dark amber - red orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, red hos, fresh overriped fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, red hops, red grape, caramel, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. Tap. Clear amber with small creamy tan head. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, little bitter, citrus and caramel.

Draught at Ølfestival København 2011. Clear amber, small head. Fruity nose with glue, peach and cardboard. Near full bodied with dough and caramel, well rounded mouthfeel. Warming finish. Feels young and immature.

On tap. Pours a clear warm amber with a dense creamy off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Sweet caramel and overripe fruit, toffeeish with some heat. Solid body, sweet caramellish, a little minerally, nuts and a subdued bitterness. Pleasant. 270511

On tap at Cardinal. Red amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, fruit, berries. Flavour is alcohol, fruit, berries, malt, hop, spices. Bitter finish. Full bodied nice beer.

On tap @ Cardinal. Hazy amber body with a small tan head. Aroma of dry fruit, malt, caramel and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, bitter and warming alcohol. Long and warming aftertaste. Feels a bit raw, still a nice sipper.
