Can. Can’t recall where from. Very hazy, rusty orange. Lots of fast rising bubbles make for a foamy, thick, lasting, cream head. Nose has stewed, orangey hop. Dark marmalade. Spicy, and slightly medicinal. Smells chewy and robustly hoppy. Taste is spicy and fruity sweet, getting chewy and oily bitter. Lots of body. Feels nicely rich, with foamy carbonation. Long, spicy bitter finish. Very nice.

Keg at Brighton Beer Dispensary. It pours hazy orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, apricot, peach, marmalade and honeysuckle. The taste is bitter, juicy, orange, tangerine, peach, grapefruit, straw, grass, pepper and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff.

Can from the Beer House, Hereford, consumed at Eardisley, Herefordshire Friday 21st July 2016. Murky amber in colour with a filmy white head. This is great it’s like a very hoppy bitter, a little lemony, juicy, fruity, a little dry. This is lovely, really streaky numbing hoppiness. Great. A7 A4 T9 P4 OV16 4.0

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a huge off white head. Aroma is mild peachy to grapefruity hoppy. Toasted malty, bitter and toffee like. Crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity. Bitter and light herbal to dry hoppy finish.

Can at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours lightly hazed gold, effervescent, with a big, frothy off-white head. The aroma holds dry citrus notes, grainy pale malts, orange peel. Light sweet flavour with sturdy grassy bitterness, more citrus rind, lightly husky grain. Light bodied with fairly lively, massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with more juicy citrus character at this juncture, although still with the grassy and rindy bitterness. Overall a very good pale ale, if a little hard-edged.
