On tap at In de Wildeman. Cloudy reddish brown colour, off white head. Aroma of spices, malts, yeast, sweet fruits. Flavour is fruity, sweet, sugary, light sour, malty, spicy, yeasty, light bittersweet finish. Body is a bit thin at times, overall light to medium bodied. Resembles IJ Natte a bit, but thinner.

A reddish copper ale with a thick creamy moka head. Gushed once opened. In aroma, aroma of lemon and cherries, musty and gueuzy. In mouth, loads of sour cherries, with some raspy astringence, acidic, not bad...I guess this one improved with age. Bieropholie import, more than a year old.

Brought back from Cave a Bulles by my folks. Pours with a bubbly, loud head that fades rather quickly. Color is dark ruby copper red. A bit too dark to see through without some direct light. Aroma is kind of dank basement euro hops along with French-y floral, musky malts. Flavor follows with a standard French maltiness, a bit musty, a bit biscuit and floral. A light bodied beer, easy to drink with a malty tea aftertaste. A bit of an earthy, almost grinds of coffee, kick at the very end. Decent stuff, not getting any sourness just some musty malt flavors completely normal to a French BdG. I would call this a BdG and not a Belgian.
11.2oz bottle, St Paul tulip/snifter glass.

Bottle from Craft Beer Base. Great, complex, and subtle nose: chocolate, cherry, and light vinegar. Just a bit sour. Flavor very disappointing, though. Chocolate and lightly sour but very bland. Far too fizzy as well. Interesting, but very different to my old ratings, so I will put this new one up. From the bottle in Paris, November 2006. 7/4/7/3/15 Rather dark reddish brown. Opaque, with yeast. Not a very big head. Fresh aroma of malt and yeast, chocolate, figs, raisins. Nicely roasted. Slight caramel sweetness, but more dry. Coffee. Subtle overall, with a dry hop and roasted malt finish. Lasts a while, though not really strong. A very interesting, enjoyable beer. Good stuff.

75 cL bottle, there is a cow on the red label - why? Pours hazy deep orange with a slight off-white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and malty. Flavour is light metallic to a distinct dry malt base. Holds a light dry breadish note. Ends light fruity yeasty with a mild bitterness just lurking through. Decent to good brew.

Bottle: Poured a clear light reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of lightly sour notes with some oak notes. Taste is also a light mix between some oak and some sourness with some light vinous notes. Body is average for the style with some good carbonation. This beer really reminded me of the Classic Rodenbach and would be perfect for a hot summer day.
