Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Dense dark brown colour with a thin muddy coloured head. Roasted malt and chocolate nose, prominent themes which continued on into the flavour which had dark fruit notes. Pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Some gentle bitterness towards to the finish. Quite tasty....I do like to get ’piston’ porter me.
