Underfilled 16 ounce crowler thanks to Kinz! I guess the brewery underfills the crowler on the higher gravity beers so they can maintain the same price point? Or maybe they're just bad at filling crowlers. This one about 3/4 inch of head space. Pretty sure this is Hampton Bay DIPA, and I've reached out for clarification and will move if necessary. Auburn, clear, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin, toffeeish malt. Taste is toffee, pine, resin, mango, grapefruit. Juicy, strong bitterness, well balanced. Nice classic DIPA. I like.
