Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as a good deal of coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of coffee, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish where the coffee note lingers.

On tap. Pours a pitch black with a small light brown head. Heavy, heavy coffee aroma atop the usual hard roast. Solid body, sweet hard roast, vanilla and again a ton of coffee. The sweetness comes creeping late blend well with the malt and coffee astringency. Perhaps a little too heavy on the coffee, but nice nonetheless. 060511
