Bottle, courtesy of saxo. It pours a red body, unclear, and topped by a pinkish white head. Cherry, almond notes and sugary fruityness on the nose. Slightly spiced, cinnamon and cloves I think. The flavor is slightly acidic, with cherry, almond hints, sugary sweetness and some yeasty notes. Full-bodied and sweetish, finishing sweet and cherryish. A quite nice cherry beer, leaving little room for the tripel. 110416

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours a cloudy red with a slightly pink head. The nose has some discreet cherry notes. Medium body, some initial sweetness, then quite some cherry notes but also a strong and unfortunate metallic tang. Ends sweet and a little cloying with the metal remaining in the aftertaste. 160411
