NYC Beer Week Opening Bash: I believe that this is the beer that I had, as this was the session IPA at the surprise Lord Hobo stand. Pours a really foamy gold with a white head (they were having carbonation problems). Aroma is light citrus. Easy drinking, juicy and bitter. Better than I remember most Lord hobo beers being.

Can split at Happy New Years L42 Shim Sham, thanks to LKS, 12/01/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangerine, pissy citrics, lemon sherbets, orange pith, straw. Taste comprises punchy citrics, melon tang, orange pith, light grapefruit, toasted bread, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid SIPA ... good balance finishing with grassy hop bitterness.

Can, as part of a trade with Leighton. Cheers! Hazy, pale gold. Film of off white head. Nose has orange pulp. Sweet vanilla malts. Notes of lime leaf and privet leaf. Taste is light, citrus rind bitter. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. More citrus on the finish, with a clean, drying close. Great sessioner.

Can at home in London - picked up at the Hanover Co-Op. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, pure white head. The nose holds pale grains, pithy citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and pine needles. Light sweet flavour with crackery pale malts, ripe lemon, biscuits, a little melon, pine needles, faint grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with more pithy citrus, subtle piney noes, dry pale malts. Solid session offering. (January 2017, score: 3.7)
Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 2 - London. Pours clear yellow with a light, foamy white head. Zesty lemon in the nose, pine needles, citrus pith. Light sweet flavour with moderate grassy hops, nicely dry, some rindy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Grassy and pithy finish. Rich hop character. Very good. (August 2016, score: 3.9)
